To all teachers & student researchers of women’s film and television history–an invitation
We are seeking volunteers from among MA/PhD students who are currently researching, or interested in women’s media histories to contribute to the updating of our Website Resource Pages.
This would involve adding any new materials or events found in your research on women’s film and/or TV history.
We would be grateful to Film/TV/Media teachers, if you would circulate this appeal for help from WFTHN to any postgraduate or advanced undergraduate students who would like to add voluntary work with our Network to their CV.
An important part of the WFTHN website is the Resources section, a set of interactive pages compiling information for women’s film and television history researchers and teachers under six different heads, each accompanied by a form through which users can send us additions or corrections:
- Archives, Libraries & Databases
- Conferences, Workshops & Events
- Current Research Projects
- Festivals
- Print, Online & Moving Image Publications
- Women’s Film &/or Television Organisations
As volunteers you would be asked to help with one or other of these categories according to your interests. The Website/Social Media team and Steering Group members would show you how to input information on the research pages and provide support. We hope you would maintain your contribution over a one or two-year period. You would also be welcome to join the Network’s Steering Group to contribute to its general activities and especially to develop further the website’s resources.
